Sunday 6 August: International Market and Presentations.

We cannot believe it. It is dry. It suppose to be the relaxing day. Therefore we start with a sleep in till 9 am.  It is needed, we are half way the camp and people get very tired, special of the very short sleeps. Breakfast goes smooth. 11 am is on the  programme the ecumenical  sunday celebration in the white tent. Happy singing and a talk of a priest about the bible story "the lost sun"and friendship. Some english and scottish  people  go for communion to the dutch church in Harderwijk. They have a very friendly welcome with tea and coffee to get to know us. The service showed that we are all one in a deffirent way/ At 1 pk starts the International market and presentations. All countries make a stall to present their country and scouti/guiding.  Different national sweets, cakes can be found.. Also activities are presented by England an Scotland. The english show the folklore dances "Morris dancing"" with bells on the leg. . Later music performed by some scoutband Sutton members who are Paggs campers. Trumpets and drums. the scots present a  beautiful scottish solo dans by a little girls and bag pipe music plays by Stuwert.  Also some some scottish group dances ( in kilt). Everybody csa join in later.  Outdoors are scottish gaber gabes. There are some guest who show interest in this PAGGScamp. Because ther is also swimming on the programme this afternoon, we had to stop at 3 pm. A shame. But we can continu with this activities on Wednesday  when the countries will do their national sports and cultural activities After the meal ther is a Karaoke in the big tent. Young singers talent is discovered.  Good noght campers.
